The Dental Emergency Room / Elegant Dentistry was founded in 1998 on the cornerstone of building strong patient relationships. The Dental Emergency Room’s / Elegant Dentistry's office feature electronic dental records and digital x-rays.
We offer complete range of preventative, cosmetic and specialized dental services. Our dental specialists provide Sedation Dentistry, Laser Treatment, Cosmetic Dentistry, Ceramic fillings (CEREC), Teeth Whitening, Root Canal Treatment, Oral Surgery, Periodontal Surgery, Children’s Dentistry, In addition to Regular Checkups.

Dental Assistant

Location: Edina MN

Description: The Dental Emergency Room PLLC. is seeking several compassionate, Professional Dental Assistant to join our team-oriented practices!

Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically greet and prepare patients for dental.
  • Be a resource to the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.
  • Capture quality x-ray images.
  • Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures.
  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
  • Perform various office tasks as necessary including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated and proper disposal of soiled materials.

Educational requirements:

  • Must be a Licensed Dental Assistant in MN.
  • All must have CPR/BLS by American heart association, Infection control certification by OSHA.
  • A+: $26: bachelor’s degree with extended functions, IV sedation monitoring and nitrous oxide certificate.
  • A: $25: Associate degree with extended functions, IV sedation monitoring and nitrous oxide certificate.
  • B: $24: Associate degree with nitrous oxide certificate
  • C: $23: Dental assisting degree with nitrous oxide certificate.
  • D: $22: Dental assisting degree.

Experience requirements:

  • Experience in digital radio graphs and electronic patient records preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience $+1

    Description: The Dental Emergency Room PLLC. is seeking compassionate, Professional Dental Hygienist to join our team-oriented practices!

    Responsibilities:

    • Evaluates overall oral health, examining oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers, including sores, recessed & bleeding gums, and oral lesions.
    • Documents dental history or chief complaint; records and reports pertinent observations and patient reactions to dental staff, as appropriate; documents lab procedures and ensures follow up on results.
    • Follows through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist. Procedures may include: Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planning, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, and Application of Protective Sealants.
